Swissotel Chicago opens two VIK suites

July 4, 2008

Swissotel Chicago has received rave reviews from parents and kids who have experienced the hotel's Very Important Kids (VIK) program, and now the hotel is adding more - two new VIK suites.

The original Shedd Aquarium-themed Swissotel Chicago VIK suite offered kids their very own separate but adjoining room filled with kid-sized furniture, coloring books, DVDs, video games, stuffed animals, books and more to make their stay as enjoyable as their parents'. Parents also have the option to purchase the VIK package - four tickets to Chicago's Shedd Aquarium.

Swissotel Chicago has now opened two more VIK suites, both highlighting Chicago attractions; the Adler Planetarium and the SUE dinosaur exhibit at the Field Museum. Each suite's kid-friendly entertainment and decorations corresponds with the respective museum.

The hotel will also continue to offer free breakfast for VIK guests and kid-friendly food items like PB&J on crustless bread and petite filet mignon.
