Pure Solutions N.A. announces first director of wellness

October 21, 2008

NEW YORK, N.Y. -- PURE Solutions N.A. is pleased to appoint Haley Payne as Director of Wellness for the company and the first in the hospitality industry.

PURE provides allergen friendly rooms, removing up to 98-100% of bacteria and viruses, being currently available in over 50 hotels worldwide.

In this new position, she will be creating an innovative program for hotels that adopt PURE rooms to train the sales, front desk and other staff on the advantages of PURE rooms for creating a more healthy environment and better sleep for all guests as well as the 98% allergen friendly benefits for allergy sufferers. She is communicating with hospitals located nearby hotel partners to make them aware of the immunity advantages of PURE rooms for their out-of-town patients undergoing long term treatment and their families. She is also conducting outreach to allergy and health associations to build alliances for PURE and PURE hotel partners.

Payne's passion for health and wellness combined with her involvement in the hospitality industry since childhood makes her a perfect fit for this position. She understands PURE's compelling vision, standards, expected outcomes and the impact PURE will have on every guest's experience.

"As part of current role, I am constantly researching and sharing ideas that aid in health and wellness as it relates to the hospitality and travel industry," says Payne. "I joined PURE to create a customer service system that would support and enhance the PURE program at each hotel."

Payne has extensive experience in the operational and sales side of the hotel industry. She has been involved in the hospitality industry all of her life, working with her mother from age 7 in a hotel restaurant. She started working as the rooms' Division Manager at the Crowne Plaza in Memphis, Tennessee. Payne was named General Manager of Hampton Inn in Ft. Lauderdale in 1994. In 2004 she joined Thayer Lodging Group as General Manager. Thayer is a privately held real estate investment company with a portfolio of 14 hotels and over 2,900 hotel rooms. Its nationwide portfolio includes hotels operating under Marriott, Hilton and Wyndham. In 2006 Payne relocated to the Atlanta area where she worked in sales for Thayer at the Wyndham Peachtree Conference Center, which installed 25 PURE rooms.

"As a frequent traveler, the sense of peace and comfort I felt in a PURE room made me fall in love with the PURE room concept," says Payne. "I began tracking the PURE room sales to see what the demand was for this room, and took it upon myself to ensure that the sales team and front desk at the hotel were informing guests of this special amenity."

When Thayer installed PURE in 13 of its hotels, it was clear that someone was needed to pioneer the initiative and make it successful. Haley Payne was the clear choice. After a year of leading this program, she joined PURE Solutions to help create a customer service support system that would increase the success for all of the hotels installing PURE. Pure has expanded to over 50 hotels in the last year, with substantial growth expected in the near future, which requires this level of support.

"We are thrilled to have Haley part of our team, especially during a time when "green" and healthy living is increasingly important to everyone," says Brian Brault, CEO and founder of PURE Solutions N.A. "We are an innovative company, growing very quickly. Payne's role will be essential as she will educate each hotel on how to sell and market the PURE rooms, as well as the health benefits of this service."

A PURE environment is a place where an allergy sufferer, frequent traveler, a family and anyone else who is concerned about health and cleanliness can feel confident that their stay will be fresh, clean and comfortable. By staying in a room with dramatically improved air quality and a significant reduction in impurities, each guest can breathe easier and sleep more comfortably.

"It is very exciting to be a part of something that will aid in redefining the hospitality industry. I know what a great product a PURE environment is and I know how beneficial it is to the customer," said Payne. "I am looking forward to the day when every guest has a PURE experience."
