Marriott to open Residence Inn in San Marcos, Calif.

Residence Inn San Marcos California exterior photoBethesda, Md.—Marriott International is scheduled to open the 112-suite Residence Inn by Marriott in San Marcos, California on Wednesday, July 28. The Residence Inn San Diego North/San Marcos will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned and managed by OTO Development, LLC of Spartanburg, S.C.  

 

Located just minutes from Old California Restaurant Row and 39 miles from the San Diego International Airport, the Residence Inn San Diego North/San Marcos offers its guests convenient access to Palomar College, California State University San Marcos, the San Diego Zoo’s Wild Animal Park, Legoland California and the well known Camp Pendleton Marine Base. Rates vary depending on length of stay.

 

“We are pleased to introduce Residence Inn hotels in the San Marcos area,” said Katie Tyson, VP for Residence Inn. “This new hotel was designed to be a home away from home and provides a residential atmosphere and spacious accommodations for guest comfort.”

 

A complimentary hot breakfast buffet is available each morning in the lobby area. Other hotel facilities and services include a heated outdoor swimming pool and whirlpool spa, exercise room, billiard room, picnic area with a barbecue, fire pit, a social room, weeknight social hour and faxing/copying/printing. The four-story hotel offers 450 square feet of meeting space to accommodate small meetings and functions of up to 35 people and is pet-friendly.
