Boulder, Colo — HVS Consulting and Valuation in Boulder, Colo., advised on the sale of the Limelight Lodge in Aspen, which closed in early April. The hotel sold for an undisclosed sum to Aspen Skiing Company.
HVS worked on behalf of the hotel’s former owners to set a price, prepare offering packages, and find a suitable buyer for the property.
“Aspen will always be a premier destination, and the Limelight Lodge was a rare opportunity to invest in the mid-priced sector of the lodging market here,” said Dordick.
“We needed to determine a fair price for the hotel and find a buyer with the capital to meet that price,” said Steve Szymanski of Szymanski Development Partners, based in Denver, the hotel's developer and a partner. “Pete’s advice was crucial. We’re extremely pleased with the outcome he helped deliver.”
