DLR hires hospitality designer

DLR Group welcomes hospitality architect and designer Ed Wilms, AIA.  He joins the firm’s Minneapolis office as an industry leading designer who will serve as a national resource for the firm’s growing entertainment, gaming and hospitality practice.

Wilms’ focus on interior architecture has earned national acclaim. His expertise with restaurant and retail design, as well as gaming and resort environments will expand DLR Group’s hospitality practice.

“Ed’s expertise in gaming and interior architecture directly compliments DLR Group’s hospitality and retail experience. Together, we can provide a value proposition to the gaming and hospitality resort client that will be tough to beat,” said Corey Wieseman, AIA, LEED AP, Principal and Corporate Practice Leader for DLR Group.

Wilms recently completed Black Bear Casino and Hotel in Carlton, Minn; Sands Casino Resort in Bethlehem, Penn.; and Turtle Creek Casino and Hotel, in Williamsburg, Mich. He earned his Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Minnesota.
