First Hospitality recently transformed a number of its hotel rooms at the Residence Inn in Maumee, Ohio into PURE hypoallergenic rooms. The rooms, offering an allergy- and asthma-friendly stay, are the only of its type in Ohio and only a handful throughout the country.
With as many as 1 in 4 Americans plagued with allergies or asthma, these rooms offer allergy relief on vacation, including:
- A seven-step, patent-pending process removes up to 99% of pollutants from the air.
- All surfaces in the room are specially cleansed and treated to remove allergens. The air and water are also treated.
- Mattresses and pillows are encased in soft and breathable hypoallergenic coverings to protect you from dust mite allergens.
- Carpets and upholstery are re-cleaned every few months to keep them pure.
- Regular maintenance and filter replacements keep rooms certified as allergy friendly.
